Roy painted this in China where he researched the combat and aircraft. This giclee depicts General Han Decai's shootdown in his MiG-15 bis of Double Ace Hal Fischer's F-86, as Hal Fischer's shot down Decai's wingman, during the Korean War. Once adversaries, the two have become dear friends. |
